ORDERS

Please allow 2–3 weeks for your order to be handcrafted and ready to ship. If you’d like a more accurate timeline, please reach out at the time of placing your order and we’ll share an ETA. We accommodate rush orders subject to availability. Please email us at [email protected] before placing your order to confirm if we can meet your delivery date.

For security and insurance purposes, we will request an identity proof of the person(s) likely to receive the parcel. Our logistics partner will only release the parcel to these specified recipients.

All shipments are handled by trusted luxury logistics partners and are fully insured. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details via WhatsApp and/or email. For shipping queries, you can contact us at +919082298106 or write to [email protected].


PAYMENTS

We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, and bank transfers through our secure payment gateway. For high-value purchases, NEFT/RTGS transfers are available on request.

For clients visiting our studio in person, we also accept cash payments for lower-value pieces. Please confirm with us in advance if you’d like to use this option.


RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY


Product Specifications

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that our Products are accurately displayed on the Website. However, photographs on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and information on the Website regarding size of Products is included as a guide only. Variations between the photograph of a Product and the actual Product may occur due to:


  • Technical restrictions of color reproduction or photo quality on your computer or mobile device and we cannot guarantee your computer’s monitor or mobile device will accurately display the true color or other specifics related to the Product you are purchasing. We will not be liable for any error or inaccuracy in the photographs or graphical representations of our Products displayed on the Website.


We will be more than happy to walk through all details of the product including the measurements and scale of all products before you place an order. Once purchased, do note that sales on www.carpediam.in are final. 

As all of our pieces are handcrafted to order, all sales are final. We recommend confirming your ring size prior to placing an order.

However, if you wish to exchange or return a product for store credit, please contact [email protected] within 48 hours  of delivery. We will accept returns of unworn, unused jewelry in original packaging. Returns are subject to a restocking fee, and clients are responsible for return shipping. Once processed, store credit will be issued via email.

Please note:

  • Diamond and gemstone purchases cannot be returned or exchanged after 7 days of delivery.

  • Engagement rings, bespoke designs, and customized/engraved pieces are final sale.

  • All international orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Our bespoke design deposit is non-refundable and can only be redeemed as store credit.


Returns

  • If you are unhappy with your online purchase at Carpe Diam, we will arrange to take the product back and organise for a partial refund, which shall be 85% of your total invoice value. Please be aware that we will deduct 15% on the invoice value in lieu of handling, insurance and luxury logistics costs incurred. To be eligible, you will need to write to us at [email protected] within 48 hours of receipt of the product about your decision to return and images attached if relevant to your case.

  • Once we respond to your query, we will arrange for a pickup of the product. It has to be in its original condition and secure packaging. Once we receive the product, our team will inspect the same and if it meets all return guidelines and is found in its original condition, we shall initiate a full refund.

  • Should the returned product not meet the above return guidelines, we have the right to deny a return request.

  • Kindly write to us at [email protected] and we will assist you through the return process.

  • We have a right to refuse excessive or unreasonable return requests.

Damages

  • In the event of any defects or damages, please email us at hello@carpediam.in within 48 hours of receiving your product along with photographs of the product highlighting the issue. Our team will respond back right away to remedy the situation and a replacement order of the same design shall be placed. We shall then arrange a pickup for the damaged product to be sent to us. It has to be in its original condition and secure packaging.

Exchanges

  • Products can be exchanged at 70% of the invoice value for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Kindly contact us at [email protected] and we shall review your request.

 



TAXES

GST will be applied to all domestic orders as per Indian government regulations. For international shipments, any duties, taxes, brokerage, or other fees are the responsibility of the client.


SHIPPING

Domestic orders are shipped securely through trusted logistics partners. Orders above a certain value may require a signature upon delivery. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

We ship internationally via FedEx/UPS/DHL depending on destination-specific restrictions. Carpe Diam is not responsible for duties, taxes, or delays that may occur when shipping internationally. All international orders are final sale.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email/text with your tracking number. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for your package, as you are responsible for its acceptance.



LOST PACKAGES

If a package is lost in transit, we will do our best to assist in locating it. However, once proof of delivery has been generated, Carpe Diam cannot be held responsible. Please ensure your shipping address is secure.


JEWELRY CARE

General Care -

When dressing, jewelry should always be put on last, as makeup, cosmetics and perfumes can cause damage to delicate items.

Should there be any concerns, please bring the jewelry piece back to us and we will gladly rectify it for you.

Care for your jewelry - 

  1. To clean the diamonds. Use warm water, a soft toothbrush and mild soap. Do not use harsh/strong agents to clean your jewelry. Soak your jewelry in lukewarm soapy water and clean it gently with a soft bristled toothbrush.

  2. It is advised to regularly check the prongs holding diamonds and other stones, especially in the case of rings, and ensure that all of them are of equal height. If any of them is shorter than the others, the stone might get loose and fall out.

  3. Some gems run the risk of getting bleached due to sunlight. Heat can dry up the natural moisture of some gemstones. Sudden temperature changes and extreme heat can also cause a fracture in some gemstones.

  4. Do not expose gemstones to high temperatures as it might change the colour of the gemstone or reduce the lustre.

  5. Store your diamond/gemstone jewelry in separate boxes or wrapped in a muslin cloth as friction between two pieces can lead the diamonds/gemstones to chip off.

  6. Also be careful not to get makeup, hairspray or harsh soaps or chemicals on your pearl jewelry.

WARRANTY POLICIES

Our fine jewelry collection is covered for one complimentary repair within one year of delivery.

Our engagement rings and bespoke creations come with a three-year warranty, covering complimentary repairs for loose or broken prongs, distorted bands, and missing melee stones.  We offer free lifetime re-polishing for all pieces.

The warranty does not cover: loss, improper storage, chemical damage, everyday wear and tear, or any third-party alterations. Center stone replacements are not covered. Repairs outside the warranty policy can be carried out for a fee. Clients are responsible for shipping costs in both directions.
